Life changes significantly between 40 and 70+. Careers evolve, children grow up and leave home, relationships change, responsibilities shift, and sometimes the identity you built around work and family begins to change too.
This is often a neglected stage of life, especially when people are expected to simply “manage” because they have managed everything else for years.
At MannPriya, I work particularly with anxiety and emotional concerns among middle-aged men and women, while also supporting the wider psychological and emotional changes that can come with this stage of life.
Not every struggle looks like a crisis. Sometimes it looks like feeling restless without knowing why. Sometimes it is loneliness, irritability, overthinking, loss of purpose, or simply feeling “something has changed, but I don’t know what.”
Counselling can provide a space to understand these changes, reconnect with yourself, and build healthier ways of navigating this phase of life.
