Individual Counselling

Sometimes, what we carry cannot be seen. Imagine carrying a heavy wooden suitcase everywhere you go. You may learn to walk with it, work with it, smile with it, and even convince yourself you have got used to its weight. But the suitcase is still there.

Sometimes, that weight comes from anxiety, depression, trauma or emotional difficulties. At other times, it comes from a difficult relationship, grief, workplace stress, family conflict, a major life transition, loneliness, identity struggles or experiences we have never had the space to process.

Not every struggle is a disorder. And you do not need a diagnosis to seek therapy.

When might you consider seeking help?

You may benefit from counselling when:

Something feels difficult to manage on your own, even after trying to cope.

Your thoughts, emotions or behaviours feel increasingly difficult to control.

Stress, anxiety, sadness, anger or emotional overwhelm begins affecting daily life.

A life event continues to weigh on you long after it has happened.

Relationship or family difficulties begin affecting your emotional wellbeing.

Work, academic or social functioning starts changing.

You find yourself repeating patterns that you understand but struggle to change.

Sleep, concentration, motivation, confidence or relationships are being affected.

You feel disconnected from yourself or from the people around you.

You simply want a safe, non-judgemental space to understand yourself better.

You do not have to wait until the suitcase becomes too heavy to ask for help.
